What is the state of my soul?
Excited and expectant.
What am I excited about?
Familiar faces and the kids we’ll be working with.
What am I worried about?
Balancing relationships outside of Hartford with those here.
How am I going into this summer?
Somewhat mentally burned out from finishing school.

Here’s some details for the people I’m working with this summer, to enable you to lift them up in prayer more effectively:

Brit – Relationships, Thursday (outreach) and Monday nights (relationship building)

Cara – Jazzed about the summer.  Desires to live intentionally and establish relationships.  Nervous about working with inner-city youth.

Julie – Confident in God’s strength to work in the city, camp, and with all of us.

Alyssa – Knows she’ll grow a lot, especially being away from the comforts and familiarity of her normal lifestyle.  Slightly overwhelmed by the noise in the city and the sense of confinement.  Glad to have a place here to call her own

Amy – Excited and honored, but also worried about doing this new job and fitting in relationships into it.  Recognizes a need to continue to work in God’s strength, since doing the opposite can wear her out very quickly.
